– Have an idea on how to improve the neighborhood?
– Little bit short on funds or volunteers to make it a reality?
The PSCA ‘Sapling’ Funding program is here to provide a neighborly helping hand! We have dedicated a portion of our annual budget to fund new ideas (‘saplings’) to help the neighborhood. This is your chance to make your idea a reality!
Sapling Program Details:
Who can apply? Anyone who lives in Passyunk Square is invited to apply for funding.
What do I have to do to get my sapling funded? Just Click here to download our short ‘sapling’ form. After you have completed it, just email it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
How long will I have to wait for a response? You will receive a response within 2 weeks and if your project is selected for consideration you will be asked to present your idea at the PSCA board meeting (Last Tuesday of each month). If your idea is selected for funding by the board you will be asked to present the idea at the monthly general meeting a week later (1st Tuesday of each month).
How much money or volunteers can I expect? There is no set limit but we expect most projects funding needs from PSCA to be less than $500. We are happy to help recruit as many volunteers are needed.
